Fabrica (“we”, “us”) operates the B2B surplus textile marketplace at fabricatrade.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Contact: info@fabricatrade.com.

Depending on how you use Fabrica, we may process:

• Account data (name, email, password hash via Firebase Auth, role)
• Business profile (company needs, mill categories, language preference)
• Order and escrow records (line items, shipping address, payment status)
• Mediated chat and deal quotes between buyers and factories
• Contact-form submissions (email, phone, message)
• Technical data (IP address, browser type, device, approximate location from network)
• Age attestation (confirmation that you are 18 or older)

Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on Fabrica servers.

• Provide and secure the marketplace, escrow, and freight quoting
• Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access
• Send verification, transactional, and support emails
• Mediate trades, disputes, and quality verification
• Improve product reliability and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We share data only as needed to run the service, including with:

• Firebase / Google Cloud (auth and database)
• Stripe (payments and Connect payouts)
• Resend (transactional email)
• Freight partners (e.g. Warp) when you request shipping quotes or booking
• AI providers (e.g. Anthropic) for listing review / chat mediation features
• Vercel (hosting)

Counterparties on a deal may receive identity and logistics details after escrow is secured, as described in product flows—not via a shared login link.

Your signed-in session is bound to your browser (Firebase Auth). Sharing a page URL does not transfer your login to someone else. Do not share passwords, email verification links, or admin keys.

Fabrica is for users 18 years of age or older. We collect date of birth at account creation (and once on sign-in if it was missing) to enforce this rule. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

We keep account, order, and compliance records for as long as needed to operate the platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Contact-form messages are retained for support follow-up.

We use industry-standard controls (HTTPS, server-side secrets, auth tokens, Firestore security rules). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email info@fabricatrade.com to make a request. You may also close your account by contacting us.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
